Weasley Wizard Wheezes was founded by the Weasley twins, Fred and George. With the help of an annomous donor, they were able to purchase the property located at 93 Diagon Alley in 1997. Having developed their products during their years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the prototypes were quickly mass produced, causing a boom in the jokeshop industry. Even during the uneasy times when He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was returning to power, the Weasley brothers experienced tremendous business growth. Within their first few months, they were able to hire 7 employees.

      Today, Weasley Wizard Wheezes is soley owned my George Wesley, after the tragic death of Fred Weasley at the Battle of Hogwarts. George is determined to make sure that their joke shop continues to be the success that he and his brother had always dreamed of.
