Chrissy is a pure-bred, A.K.C. registered golden retriever. However, the retriever part is only in name, as she is more of a golden sleeper. Chrissy was born on December 21st, 2006. We adopted her from a family who was moving to an apartment in Florida and were not allowed to have pets. Many families wanted her due to how sweet she is, but we were lucky enough to be picked by her foster parent. Even though Chrissy is significantly larger than our dachshund, Snickers, she is very passive and is not the alpha. She is very passive, only my mom has ever heard her growl (which was at a beach umbrella of all things). Chrissy is inseparable from Snickers. When she is boarded when we are out of town, she won't go the bathroom unless Snickers is out with her. She is truly the friendliest pet of our family.
