The three of us started CSB Design together in August of 2013. Connor, Shannah and I have all been rather artistic since we were kids. Whether it was drawing, painting or whatever we all had a lot of fun creating different kinds of visual art. A couple of years ago I had the idea of putting some of my drawing on shirts, but not to sell them. I just wanted to order one for myself to wear. Unfortunately I never really followed through with it and it just never happened, but it was always in the back of my mind. Last summer, 2013, I saw some of the artwork Connor had done and remembered my idea of making shirts. I pitched the idea to Connor and Shannah and we all got to work. We went through dozens of drafts of different shirts, asked for feedback from people we knew and by posting online. Once we had a few designs finalized we started a project on Kickstarter to crowd-fund the start of our business. With the help of our friends and our community we made more than enough money to start producing and selling the first few designs. We were surprising successful right away and sold out of our initial stock in just the first few weeks. We ordered more shirts and began to develop some new designs. After the second batch we partnered with a local business that does shirt screen prints. After a little while we moved the business online and started to sell our shirts off of our website. For the last few months the word has been spreading. We've been selling more shirts, developing new designs and expanding our site. We're looking to hire our first employee. Hopefully with your support we'll all be able to keep making new and cool designs for a long time.
