Through studying metaphysics we can question why color is important to the world and if it is truly a necessary aspect of life. Through studying aestheticswe wonder what makes a color beautiful compared to other colors. We wonder why certain colors inspire assorted emotions within people when they see them. Also, why does color intensify and shape art the way that it does? Through studying epistemology we question if we can truly have knowledge of an object being the color we believe it to be. Epistemology also includes the question of whether a color is a product of the mind or an inherent property of an object.
