Hi, I am Niraj Khatiwada. I am from Nepal. I am currently a Sophomore at Bryn Athyn College, Pennsylvania. I really like learning - mathematics in particular. Growing up in a business family, I started getting obsessed with numbers from my early childhood. I find it amazing how numbers and handful of symbols describe the functioning of the entire universe. At the age of 10, I won the mathematical challenge from my class by reciting the multiplication tables of 1 through 32.

Role Model: I read and watch documentaries about a lot of great minds in history. Mathematicians and scientists like Sir Isaac Newton, Leonardo DaVinci, Fermat, Gauss and Albert Einstein have inspired me greatly. However, if I have to pick just one name out of that illustrious group of geniuses, it would be Leonhard Euler. His contributions to various fields of mathematics like number theory, calculus, analysis and graph theory are far reaching. One particular thing I find amazing about him is the amount of work he produced despite being blind in the later stages of his life. Bravo Dr. Euler!

Bryn Athyn College & Me: I cannot express how delighted I am to study at Bryn Athyn College. It is where I have found an ideal atmosphere to give continuity to my learning process. It's a privilege to attend classes taught by highly qualified teachers here. For me, the campus is like a home away from home.
